Everton summer signing Jordan Pickford has already had a brilliant start between the sticks for the Blues – quickly winning fans over with a string of commanding performances.
Moving from Sunderland in the last transfer window for a fee which could potentially rise to £30million placed a lot of pressure on the youngster’s shoulders, which he has dealt with admirably up to this point.
And it’s clear to see that it’s not just on the pitch that Pickford is showing his class.
The Blues star has clearly not abandoned his Sunderland roots as he bought the home kit and a set of tracksuits for North East Sunday league side Washington Arms FC.
The club tweeted pictures of the squad wearing what the goalkeeper had bought with the caption: “Thank you to @JPickford1 who bought our home strip & tracksuits. We are extremely grateful. We wish him every success at Everton & England.”
