ASTON VILLA FC are keen to make goalkeeper shop stopper Sam Johnstone’s loan deal permanent.
The Man United youngster is enjoying his second spell with the Aston Villa – keeping 5 clean sheets so far this season.
Villa boss Steve Bruce is keen to agree terms with Man United for Johnstone, 24 on a more permanent business
Bruce said: It would be great to keep Sam here for the next few years as Villa’s Number one. I will need to ask a few questions. The ideal move for us would be to buy him in January.
The difference in him since he’s started is now light years. He’s confident, playing every week and he’s playing real football.
Sam Johnstone joined Aston Villa in January after struggling for first-team chances at Old Trafford and is now enjoying his time with some excellent performances.
